2. Mental Health Education for Athletes
Lectures and seminars providing mental health education related to athletics. Topics include:
- Psychological Skills Training
- Mental Health Issues (coping with injury; managing team conflict; team-building; end of career transition)
- Mental Health Conditions (depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, concussion)
- Overview of Banned Substances
- Brain Health (sleep hygiene & nutrition for optimal brain and neuromuscular function)
3. Referral to Clinical Services
Referrals to psychologists, psychiatrists, other mental health professionals, and facilities providing counseling and medication therapy.
